It  is with great sadness that given the current COVID-19  situation we have decided to cancel the event for 2020.  Know that our thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you and your families during this difficult time and we hope you all stay healthy and safe.  We look forward to being able to bring this event back for 2021.

ABOUT PCD

Our son Jack was diagnosed in 2012 with a genetic disease called PCD (Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia). Jack was born with this, however, being a rare disease that is hard to diagnose, wasn't diagnosed until he was 8 years old.

The Drive Fore PCD was created by our family in 2017 as an annual outing to help create awareness and raise money for the PCD Foundation.  In our first 2 years we were able to raise $22,000 for the PCD Foundation in efforts to continue the much needed research and address severe unmet needs in the PCD community.  It is our goal to continue to grow this amount each year with the continued support of family, friends and community.

PCD is a genetic disorder of the microscopic organs called cilia that line the upper and lower respiratory tract including nasal passages, sinuses and lungs, Eustachian tubes of the ear, reproductive organs and ventricles of the brain. There are defects of the cilia causing profound difficulty in clearing airway and causing illness. It is often compared to cystic fibrosis, another devastating genetic disorder sharing many features with PCD and therefore treatments are often the same. It is rare, not tested for currently at birth and no cure at this time.

In order for this event to be successful we need your help. There are many opportunities to help: sponsor a cart or a hole, sponsor drinks, a team or a golfer, dinner or lunch, donate to raffle or silent auction, be an event sponsor, and let's not forget....WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! If you are able to help in any of these ways please go to the sign up above.

All donations and sponsorships will have special recognition.  All money raised goes directly to PCD Foundation for research.
